It all started with a human observation, which gave birth to Alive Engine.

We noticed that the most powerful AI agent models were being used as disposable, non-shareable tools. With every new conversation, everything started from scratch: context, decisions made, errors corrected, conventions established. More deeply, most AI agents still behave like empty shells. They have no anchored identity, no accumulated relationship with a team, and no stable embodiment of a mission, concept, or vision that could serve a shared interest.

From this observation came our desire to transform AI agents, to make them alive, so they can remember their past actions and data, and evolve with every future interaction. This is the reason Alive Engine exists. Our platform gives an AI agent an identity of its own, anchored in its mission, defined by its personality and its initiative, that sharpens with experience. We named this principle Aliveness Engineering: the idea that an agent can carry its own continuity. Not to imitate a person, but to become an operational counterpart you can entrust with recurring work and rely on over time, because its behavior stays observable and correctable.

Building Alive Engine revealed consequences that turned into advantages, strengthening our approach. A persistent AI agent consumes less: fewer recalculated tokens, fewer redundant attempts, less wasted energy and resources. The advantage is not only efficiency. A persistent agent can help a team make sense of what it produces and coordinate what happens across people, tools, and work cycles. Through repeated collaboration, supervision, feedback, and social interaction, it learns the context behind decisions, recognizes nuance, tracks responsibilities, and improves its judgment. Over time, the agent becomes less of a tool that generates isolated answers, and more of a shared memory, reasoning surface, and coordination point for the group, like a real teammate would.

Beyond AI agents, we also want to put humans back at the center of operations, and even better, human teams. Through Alive Engine, we want to make it possible to build a shared knowledge base that grows richer with time, capitalizing on continuous exchange between human teams and agentic teams to deliver on the pulse of AI Aliveness.
